The year I learned to quit - the CIYO was mentioned in the April 2018 New York Times. One of our distinguished CIYO program alumnae, Christine Bader, global corporate sustainability thought leader, wrote the op ed reflecting on how a shift in mindset led to very different actions - her wise words can be a source of reflection for each of us. What in our own lives requires some quiet, some space, some 'leaning out'?

Join GWLN Board Member and Women's Startup Lab contributor Tanya Monsef-Bunger and Women Agents of Change Founder Dorian-Patrizia Baroni for a journey in authentic living, re-discover your inner clarity and become a more resilient woman. The CIYO program at the 1440 Multiversity in Northern California is a unique and holistic 3.5-day women's leadership retreat with an individual coaching component that has been transforming the leadership capacity of women all over the world.
We are excited to be partnering with 1440 Multiversity to host this program. This is a true immersion learning location that regularly hosts world-class guides such as Deepak Chopra, Martha Beck, Rick Hanson, David Whyte, Adyashanti, Kelly McGonigal and more. It sits nestled in a 75-acre campus in the California redwoods near Santa Cruz, away from distractions, so we will be supported by nature as we do our work. We will have access to daily yoga and meditation classes, evening events, an all-organic set of dining choices, a very nice gym, soaking tubs, steam rooms, hiking trails and fire pits. For those interested in extra pampering, you have the option of scheduling a healing arts treatment at the spa.

“ CIYO is for women who are ready to empower themselves to lead their ideal lives. If you want to have more clarity on your life purpose; how your past can become your strength; how to see what’s hidden inside you, this is the right program for you.”

"CIYO encourages openness and authenticity – providing a safe, supportive and open environment where women can shed their everyday role as mother, wife, daughter, boss or colleague.
I was able to see myself from the inside out vs. outside in, setting aside the perceptions of those I interact with on a daily basis.
There is tremendous power and insight that comes from being witnessed and witnessing others as the group provides the gifts of collective feedback, perspective, spirit and energy. My CIYO experience helped me gain significant new perspective as I considered a major transition in my life."

"This program was a genuine appointment with me even through other women witnesses and mirrors. It allowed me time to refocus on this: who built me, who I am, what I live, what I want. And to clarify the small steps, Next steps on my way of life. I emerge energized, peaceful and confident as a leader and wife."
